This is a project by a single collector combining both his hobbies and attempting to create a single program to cover the stamp collector's needs.
I have now retired and I am making the programme available for free. That is free to use, free to distribute and with albums free to distribute and use as you see fit for the benefit of all stamp collectors.
The mainstay of the program is a simplified database of over 200,000 stamps with over 50,000 images assigned to individual stamp data covering the period from 1840 to 1999. Not all stamps are as yet in the database but are being loaded and will be available to download on the download page. Other databases can be used including specialised databases.

ReplyDeleteI have been using excel to keep a record of my stamps but it has a lot of limitations - foremost of which is the file size. Anyway, I was wondering if it is possible to upload my file to the database? If so, how should I format it and what fields should I include?

DeleteReceiving "Unhandled exception..." Access to the path C:\... CurrentSearch.txt is denied." The program then hangs up; the only option is to close. This is in Windows 7. Is there a simple solution?
